Hello Fellow Crafters, Bloggers, and Unknowns! ;)
I'm really excited to share a sneak peek at a Bridal Shower Invite I'm working on. My cousin is getting married and my family will be hosting her Bridal Shower. Of course, pre-made invites are not allowed at this event; un-heard of! LOL! My brother and I have put our heads together and come up with this layout. I think it's great and captures the theme well!
The invite is a 5X6.5 card front. I used 2 Cricut cartridges; Lacy Labels and Sweethearts. The bride is cut out on velvet paper. Pearl, gem stone, and floral embellishments were used. The frame around the bride is glitter paper.
Now it's time to work on the back of the invite. Guess we should include the when and where?!
Thanks for visiting!
Scrapbooking. Card Making. Stamping. Craft Projects. When adding all of these elements together you have another creative art form. Creativity is taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes, learning and sharing from others; and most importantly...having FUN!

Time to... "Escape"
Good Evening Fellow Crafters (and to those who happened to stumble on my blog in a random google search). ;)
A couple weeks ago, I needed a card for a teacher friend and didn't have any pre-made; so I was flipping through my Cricut Magazines for inspiration and found one. I ended up using "Kate's ABC" cartridge; and what I thought was going to be a quick card, I realized this isn't going to be one. LOL!
Here is the finished product...
| Inspiration came from Cricut Magazine special edition "Cards" pg.15 |
| Supplies: Cardstock-Stampin' Up; Patterned Paper- DCWV Travel; Stickles; Sharpie pen; Pearl Embellishment-Stampin' Up Pretties Kit, Letter Stickers-Unknown; White Gel Pen |
I distress the "sky" paper. Not too bad; if I say so myself. ;)

Patriotic Wreath
When looking at a calendar and taking note of the holidays and special occasions, there are several holidays that focus on appreciation for America and those who have served in our military. When I was making my wreath, I wanted to be able to use it more than once a year; so when deciding on the images I kept that thought in mind. Here is my finished project...
| Dog Tags read: "Support Our Troops" and "Let Freedom Ring" |
| Give a shout out to my brother who helped me out with how to "bling" the Eagle. ;) |
Three cheers for the red, white, and blue!
CHEERS!

I'm Back and Sharing!
Good Day Fellow Crafters!
It has been almost a year since I posted and shared on my blog. Well, I am back and blowing the dust off this page and giving it a new look with some of the projects I've been working on.
Mother's Day Gift 2012

| I found the inspiration for this project in the March 2012 Cricut Magazine (on the cover as well as page 106) by Roree Rumph (blog: www.roreerumph.blogspot.com). |
I am also re-vamping my facebook page as well. Please stop on by and give a "LIKE"; www.facebook.com/creationsbyzajc :D

Wanna Smore with Sebastian?
Happy Thursday All!
I'm getting ready to head to Chicago for my family reunion; but first I wanted to share this last project I was able to squeeze in.
I was crafting with a friend and she had The Disney Princesses cartridges. As I was going through them, I saw the image of Sebastian (from The Little Mermaid) and thought he was the perfect fit to my beach layout. He adds a lot more "life" to my page. :)
![]() |
| The layout size is 8.5 X 11. Enough room for a wallet size picture. |
![]() |
| I used Stickles to embellish the fire, top of the palm tree, marshmallows and Sebastian's face. |
![]() |
| I used a brown Sharpie pen to add a shadow effect on the title. Also, I put Sebastian on an Action Wobble. |
![]() |
| He know's how to shake it. LOL! :) |

| TA-DA!!! ;) Until next time... keep you craft groove going! :) |

Dress Form Stand
I found this dress form stands at a local craft store; Wooten's Scrapbook Co. I kept coming back to them and visioning what/how I would decorate them. One of the sales girls made a few suggestions and I'm out the door with two of them! :) Overall, I'm proud of my finished project; since this was my first try at decorating one of these.
![]() |
| This is what I started with. |
![]() |
| And... this is what I finished with. :) |
![]() |
I said it above and have to say it again; check out DCWV "The Lace and Linen Collection." Beautiful papers!! :) |
![]() |
| Unfortunately, I forgot what cartridge I used to cut the hearts; however the size of hearts are 3/4". |
![]() |
| I used chantilly lace and threaded pink grosgrain ribbon to make the scarf. |
![]() |
| The large flower came from Prima Flowers. |
Well...hope you enjoyed my first decorated dress form stand. I have one more to do; but mulling around with a theme and to what theme. Suggestions? :)

Birthday Card
Provo Craft has come out with a magazine dedicated to the Cricut/Imagine machines; called "Cricut Magazine." Every so many months they come out with special issues; "Cricut Birthdays" and "Cricut Cards." These magazines has opened my creative mind to new ideas and inspiration. I was inspired to make this card after seeing it in the "Cricut Cards" issue; by Stephanie Ackerman. When you can; go check out her work! :)
Here is my creation:
I will post two more projects tomorrow. At the moment need to get back to getting ready for my "day" job. Hope everyone had a great weekend!
Here is my creation:

| Cricut cart used was Life's A Beach (both out/inside); also Stickles were uses to embellish the flower and mermaid's top. The half perl in mermaid's hand is from Stampin Up's Pretties Kit. |

| I used Stickles to also embellish the sea shell board. |

New Name To Blog!
Good Morning Everyone!
Hope all is well with you.
Just a small note to check in and let everyone know...I'm still around; just been busy with my "day" job and with things at home; which is why I haven't been able to post new items that I've worked on.
What you might have noticed is the new name to my blog! I've been mulling this around for a while and finally decided to change my "company"/blog name. The original one was WAY too long and just didn't feel like me; so I'm keeping it simple...Creations By Zajc! Of course, I'm not able to change my User Name ID (direct address) on facebook (www.facebook.com/PositivelyMagnificientScrapper); other than that...it's now Creations By Zajc! :)
I'm hoping by this weekend I will be able to share what I've worked on. :)
Until then...stay cool! ;)

Father's Day Gift
Happy Father's Day To All Dads (and anyone else who fills that role). :)
Here is my Father's Day gift to my Dad...this year.
Here is my Father's Day gift to my Dad...this year.
I took the glass out of the frame so I was able to pop the images.
Cricut carts: Summer in Paris and Black Letter
I used Stampin Up paper and Stickels on top of the hat.
I created a photo mat to fit a 4X6 photo of my Dad's choosing to place in the frame.
This one took my Dad by surprised because, there was a tear.
Hope everyone had a peaceful and relaxing weekend. :)
