MS Blog Hop

Welcome to the MS Blog Hop!

You've reached the final "hopping" place.  My name is Tammy (Positively Magnificent Scrapper) and I will be your hostess for this final "hop" stop.  :)

First and foremost...some important information for you...

Again...Welcome to the MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Blog Hop.  If you are coming from Patricia (Creative Diva) then you are in the right place.  If you are just randomly coming up on this post, then please head back to Linda (Fancy Framework) so you can see ALL the fun we have in store for you.  There are some wonderful creative ladies participating in this "hop" (all for a good cause) as well as there may be some blog candy or projects made for this Hop to be auctioned off.  If the projects are up for auction, you are more than welcome to auction on as many projects as you would like (*).

(*)If you would like to participate in the auction and are the winner of the auction, you will make your donation to Linda (Fancy Framework) Fundraising page, Walk MS.  Please note...there is a minimum donation online of $10.  If you still want to participate in auction, but not online, then you are more than welcome to (snail)mail Linda (Fancy Framework) with a check made payable to: National MS Society.  That way you are able to use this donation as a tax write-off.
(*)Now...if a project is not up for auction and/or you simply want to make a donation to this good cause, follow this link National MS Society.

OK...fasten your seat belts and let this final "hop" stop begin...

This was my first project using my brand new Gypsy!  :)  Just a few minor tweaks to the project as I was "cutting", but overall...I LOVE my Gypsy!!  :<>

The assignment for this project had to be about "movement."  So...thanks to my friend Linda, she let me sample a couple of those Action Wobbles.  Check them out: Action Wobble

Another fond embellishment I'm enjoying...Stickles!  As I used quite a few colors to add "bling" to my page.

Recipe:
--Card stock: Bazzill and Stampin Up
--Adhesive: pop-up glue dots, (another new toy...lol) ATG, 2-way glue pen, tacky glue
--Gypsy and Cricut cartridges: Create a Critter, Micky and Friends Font, Stand and Salute, Accent Essentials
--PKS 490: Everyday Character Face Assortment
--PKS: White gel gen
--Action Wobbles
--Stickles
--Fabric: burlap

Final Notes...
I am going to put my project up for auction.  If you would like to leave a bid for this project, please leave a comment in the comment section and include the word BID and then your amount.  See (*) above for guidelines for donations and/or bids.  I will have the auction up till Sunday, March 6th at 11:59pm PST.  I will mail project to winning bidder once I received confirmation of donation received.  Please leave a way from me to contact you, if you should be the winner.  :)

For blog candy: I will be giving away a brand new set of Cricut Personal cutting mats!  All you need to do: leave a comment (and if you like my work and sparkling personality...LOL) become a new follower.  ;)  I will pick winner on Wednesday, March 9th.  As always...please leave me a way to contact you, should you be the winner of the blog candy.  :)

I hope you enjoyed our Blog Hop for National MS Society.  If you have any questions about the auction or about MS and National MS Society; please contact myself or the Mastermind behind this blog hop (and good friend) Linda (Fancy Framework).

Blog Hop Roll Call:
Thank you for visiting and joining the fun!

PKS Face Challenge: Card Storage

Hello...Hello...Hello!

It's Wednesday and I have finally finished PKS Face Challenge .

I'm not sure why, but I'm having difficult time matching colors or it seems that I'm second guessing myself when it comes to picking colors; perhaps thinking too hard/much about it.  Who knows?!  I bought myself a color wheel; so...we'll see how that works.  Does anybody use those?  What do you think?  Helpful?

I liked the mailbox idea and was fortunate enough to find them at Target (like the design team girls mentioned) in the $1 bins.  They had three different colors and I couldn't decide what one...so what's a crafter gal to do?  Pick two of each color!  ;)

The face challenge was to create an altered container using PKS faces to store Valentines or cards you receive throughout the year.

And...here is the finished look:

Recipe:
  • Cricut cartridge: Hannah Montana and Quarter Note
  • Designer Paper: K&Company "Lovely"
  • Card stock: Stampin Up "Real Red", "Regal Rose", "Basic Black", and "Whisper White"
  • PKS 490: Everyday Character Face Assortment
  • PKS: White Gel Pen
  • My Pink Stamper: Family and Friends
  • Red grosgrain ribbon
  • Adhesive and pop-up dots
  • Mail box: Target

I liked how this turned out and I'm going to turn this into a card.  I can bust out a dozen by Monday!  hehe!  ;)

Thank you for visiting!  :)

PKS: Monochromatic Sketch Challenge

Evening All...

Here is my submission for Peachy Keen Stamps and the challenge was to create a card or layout based on the sketch given and through in a twist.  The twist was to use a monochromatic color scheme.  For those who are wondering what is monochromatic...the use of tints and shades of the same color.

The color I chose were shades of green and was excited to use my new Cricut cartridge: Paper Doll Dress Up.  I have to admit...Paper Doll Dress Up is a lot of fun to use.  :)

Here's my creation...

Mr. Leprechaun walking down the road to his pot of gold.  ;)

Used gold Stickles in the center of flowers.

I had a lot of fun creating this little guy.

The shamrocks have light green sequins with stickles in the center.
A look down the road.  ;)

Recipe:
  • PKS 490 - Everyday Character Faces
  • PKS - white gel pen
  • Stampin Up Ink Pad: Basic Black
  • Cricut cartridges: Paper Doll Dress Up and Plantin School Book
  • Stickles
  • Iced Got Flowers: Limeade
  • Card stock: Bazzill Basics Paper Fundamentals (textured), Stampin Up, and Best Occasions
  • Design Paper: Provo Craft Cricut "Celebrations"
  • Sequins: from Joann's Craft Store
  • Adhesives
  • Punch Out Alphas (lettering)

I am proud of this page!  I had gone through a couple of layouts to get this one "just right."  Must be that "Irish Luck."  ;)

Thank you for visiting.

PKS "Face" Challenge: X's and O's

Good Evening!

Hope all had a wonderful weekend.

Here is a simple Valentine card I'm submitting for a Peachy Keen Stamp Challenge.  The guidelines for this challenge were pretty simple: create a Peachified Valentine using X's & O's somewhere on project.  X's & O's don't have to be the main focus on the project; but should be the evident theme of the project.

I was excited for this project because this was my first time using my new stamps from Peachy Keen.  :)

"Puppy Love"

Paw prints stamped and two hearts w/an O & X

For "bows": X & O

Recipe:
** PKS: 754-Critter Faces (medium)
** Hero Arts Stamp: I Love My Dog
** Cricut Cartridge: Create-A-Critter
** Stampin Up Ink: Pretty In Pink and Basic Black
** Stampin Up Cardstock: Creamy Caramel, Chocolate Chip, Pretty In Pink
** The Paper Company: White
** Wal-Mart: Valentine Paper Pack
** Stampin Up Punches: Heart to Heart, Corner Rounder
** Adhesive: SNAIL and 3D-Dots (EK Success)
** Stickles: Xmas Red
** Gold Glitter Alphabet Stickers came from Michael's; but I don't remember who the maker is.

Thank you for visiting!  :)
