Wanna Smore with Sebastian?

Happy Thursday All!

I'm getting ready to head to Chicago for my family reunion; but first I wanted to share this last project I was able to squeeze in.

I was crafting with a friend and she had The Disney Princesses cartridges.  As I was going through them, I saw the image of Sebastian (from The Little Mermaid) and thought he was the perfect fit to my beach layout.  He adds a lot more "life" to my page.  :)

The layout size is 8.5 X 11.
Enough room for a wallet size picture.
I used Stickles to embellish the fire, top of the palm tree, marshmallows and Sebastian's face.
I used a brown Sharpie pen to add a shadow effect on the title.
Also, I put Sebastian on an Action Wobble.
He know's how to shake it.  LOL!  :)
TA-DA!!!  ;)

Until next time... keep you craft groove going!  :)

Dress Form Stand

I found this dress form stands at a local craft store; Wooten's Scrapbook Co.  I kept coming back to them and visioning what/how I would decorate them.  One of the sales girls made a few suggestions and I'm out the door with two of them!  :)  Overall, I'm proud of my finished project; since this was my first try at decorating one of these.

This is what I started with.
And... this is what I finished with.  :)
My plan of attack when I started, was to start with the skirt and work down the base/stand.
I found wonderful stack of paper by DCWV "The Lace and Linen Collection."
The flower on the base were from Prima and I used pink and silver Stickles in the center of flowers.
Now, I will ask for opinions on this: what are your thoughts of covering the base/stand with flower like I did?

I said it above and have to say it again; check out DCWV "The Lace and Linen Collection."  Beautiful papers!!  :)
I cut strips of paper for skirt by 8.5 X 1.5
Then I would tear the excess off.  I used modge podge gloss.  This was my first time using modge podge and after seeing the finished skirt now realized what gloss glue does.  ;)

Unfortunately, I forgot what cartridge I used to cut the hearts; however the size of hearts are 3/4".
I used chantilly lace and threaded pink grosgrain ribbon to make the scarf.

The large flower came from Prima Flowers.

Well...hope you enjoyed my first decorated dress form stand.  I have one more to do; but mulling around with a theme and to what theme.  Suggestions?  :)
