Blog Candy Winner, Blog Award, and more importantly...THANK YOUS

Good Morning Everyone!

It's Wednesday; "hump" day and a day closer to the weekend.  Who's ready to get their craft on?!  ;)

First off, I would like to say WELCOME to my new friends/followers here on my blog.  I hope you enjoyed the MS Blog Hop and I wanted to thank you for joining my blog.  I appreciate all the wonderful comments!  :)  I'd also like to extend a thank you to Linda (Fancy Framework), for inviting me to participate in this Hop and for a good cause.  Speaking of good cause, Linda was able to raise $125 for the National MS Society during the MS Blog Hop!  :)  Congrats GIRL!  :)

UPDATE:  The first winner of the blog candy has graciously declined the award because she was one of the designers for the blog hop; and I didn't realize it either.  So...I did the drawing again...and...

Now...the winner for the MS Blog Hop Candy...1 brand new pack of Personal Cricut Cutting Mats

Using Random.org, and out of 25 thoughtful comments...

Congrats Percilla on winning the Blog Candy! Please email me your addy so that I can mail out your blog candy! You have till Sunday, March 13th to email me. If I should not hear from you, I will randomly select a new winner.

Lastly, one of my new friends Patricia (Creative Diva) has nominated me for a blog award; A Thing of Beauty Award: Your Blog Has Style

The rules for this award are: when accepting this award; you must list 5 things about yourself (including why you like crafting), pass it on to 5 others, and when you post the award; the award designer would like the award linked back to her.

5 Factoids About Me:
1.  I consider scrap booking/card making a form of art, and this is my way of showing my creative side.
2.  I went to my first Scrapbook Expo and bought a Gypsy; it is my new favorite crafting toy.
3.  Even though the show is no longer airing, I enjoy watching seasons 1-6 of "Sex and the City."
4.  I am becoming a shoe addict.  ;)
5.  I enjoy driving in my car with stereo up and singing along to my favorite tunes and "air" drumming on my steering wheel.

5 Ladies Who I Nominate For This Award:

That is it for now.  Tessa and I hope everyone is doing well and having a wonderful day.  :)

MS Blog Hop

Welcome to the MS Blog Hop!

You've reached the final "hopping" place.  My name is Tammy (Positively Magnificent Scrapper) and I will be your hostess for this final "hop" stop.  :)

First and foremost...some important information for you...

Again...Welcome to the MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Blog Hop.  If you are coming from Patricia (Creative Diva) then you are in the right place.  If you are just randomly coming up on this post, then please head back to Linda (Fancy Framework) so you can see ALL the fun we have in store for you.  There are some wonderful creative ladies participating in this "hop" (all for a good cause) as well as there may be some blog candy or projects made for this Hop to be auctioned off.  If the projects are up for auction, you are more than welcome to auction on as many projects as you would like (*).

(*)If you would like to participate in the auction and are the winner of the auction, you will make your donation to Linda (Fancy Framework) Fundraising page, Walk MS.  Please note...there is a minimum donation online of $10.  If you still want to participate in auction, but not online, then you are more than welcome to (snail)mail Linda (Fancy Framework) with a check made payable to: National MS Society.  That way you are able to use this donation as a tax write-off.
(*)Now...if a project is not up for auction and/or you simply want to make a donation to this good cause, follow this link National MS Society.

OK...fasten your seat belts and let this final "hop" stop begin...

This was my first project using my brand new Gypsy!  :)  Just a few minor tweaks to the project as I was "cutting", but overall...I LOVE my Gypsy!!  :<>

The assignment for this project had to be about "movement."  So...thanks to my friend Linda, she let me sample a couple of those Action Wobbles.  Check them out: Action Wobble

Another fond embellishment I'm enjoying...Stickles!  As I used quite a few colors to add "bling" to my page.

Recipe:
--Card stock: Bazzill and Stampin Up
--Adhesive: pop-up glue dots, (another new toy...lol) ATG, 2-way glue pen, tacky glue
--Gypsy and Cricut cartridges: Create a Critter, Micky and Friends Font, Stand and Salute, Accent Essentials
--PKS 490: Everyday Character Face Assortment
--PKS: White gel gen
--Action Wobbles
--Stickles
--Fabric: burlap

Final Notes...
I am going to put my project up for auction.  If you would like to leave a bid for this project, please leave a comment in the comment section and include the word BID and then your amount.  See (*) above for guidelines for donations and/or bids.  I will have the auction up till Sunday, March 6th at 11:59pm PST.  I will mail project to winning bidder once I received confirmation of donation received.  Please leave a way from me to contact you, if you should be the winner.  :)

For blog candy: I will be giving away a brand new set of Cricut Personal cutting mats!  All you need to do: leave a comment (and if you like my work and sparkling personality...LOL) become a new follower.  ;)  I will pick winner on Wednesday, March 9th.  As always...please leave me a way to contact you, should you be the winner of the blog candy.  :)

I hope you enjoyed our Blog Hop for National MS Society.  If you have any questions about the auction or about MS and National MS Society; please contact myself or the Mastermind behind this blog hop (and good friend) Linda (Fancy Framework).

Blog Hop Roll Call:
Thank you for visiting and joining the fun!

Checking In :D

Good Morning!

How are my creative friends?  :)

I wanted to share that I went to my first Scrapbook Expo this past weekend at the Anaheim Convention Center.  Spent close to 8 hrs there and saw a lot of cool things that every paper crafter would love to have in their supplies.  I left there with a few goodies...the big one...the Gypsy!  I've spent the last two days getting acquainted with my Gypsy and now understand why other's rave about it.  ;)

My first big project I'm using the Gypsy for is for a blog hop my friend (Linda at Fancy Framework)is hosting; and for a good cause.

  Help Fight MS

As you may or may not know...Multiple Sclerosis is a chronic but disabling disease, which affects different people in different ways.  People are dedicated to helping find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis--which the National Multiple Sclerosis Society has actually made BIG steps towards in 2010.  If you would like to find out more about MS, please visit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

The blog hop will start THIS Friday, March 4th - Sunday, March 6th.  There are lots of creative ladies participating in this hop; and what's a hop w/out blog candy.  ;)  Come join us THIS Friday starting at blog...Fancy Framework

Lastly...I would like to extend a big thank you and appreciation to Deborah for giving me a BLOG AWARD.

THANK YOU DEBORAH!

Alright...back to my day job.  Thanks for visiting and I'll be back later.  :)
